Bani and Soap-Bubble City

Bani returned from the garden with soil on his paws. Dust was visible; microbes were not, though some had travelled with him.

A Bubble appeared by the sink. “Not every microbe is harmful, but after outdoor play and before food, wash extra visitors away.”

First Bani wet his paws with clean water. Water helped the soap spread.

He made foam over fronts, backs, between toes and near nails. Bubbles reached the easy-to-forget places.

Bani did not rush. He washed while magical sand slipped calmly through a timer.

Running water carried away the foam, dirt and many microbes.

Bani dried with his own towel. He remembered to wash after outdoor play, after the toilet and before eating.

His biscuit tasted wonderfully crunchy. Cleanliness was not fear of the world; it was simple care for everyone.
