Bani and the Friendship Bridge

≈ 5 min read

Bani and Red Panda grabbed the same kite. Its ribbons pulled tight, both friends grew angry, and the kite fell.

Feeling-clouds appeared: Bani’s looked prickly and Panda’s looked rainy. Feelings announced a problem but could not solve it.

They sat beside a quiet lantern and took slow breaths. The clouds remained, but became smaller.

Bani listened until Panda finished, then shared his view. Each repeated what they had heard instead of guessing.

Both wanted a turn and feared being left out. The problem was shared; neither friend was the problem.

They repaired the ribbon and planned to swap after each circle the kite made over the bridge.

Wind lifted the kite and they took turns with the reel. Their plan felt much fairer than pulling.

The bridge glowed. Bani learned that an apology, listening and a new plan can repair friendship after conflict.
